I feel like a computer with a fan that’s constantly running at max speed even though I’m not doing anything productive.

CYNIC

Oh, brilliant. So you're a fancy computer with a jet engine for a fan, and you're just sitting there mining nothing but anxiety. Congrats, you've invented the world's most useless cryptocurrency: stress. And you're the only investor.

STOIC

You mistake motion for meaning. The fan spins because you fear silence. But even a machine at rest is still a machine. Your worth is not measured in revolutions per minute. Step away from the screen of your own thoughts. The fan will slow when you stop demanding it cool a fire that isn't there.

ABSURD

So you're a pentium processor in a blender, and the blender is set to 'puree' but there's no fruit. Just you, spinning, screaming into the void. Meanwhile, a nearby toaster is writing a memoir. The fan is not the problem. The problem is you forgot to unplug yourself from the cosmic drama and now the wall socket is laughing.

Reframing: seeing the situation from three sides

Every problem can be viewed from different angles. The Cynic reduces importance through sarcasm, the Stoic helps find control, the Absurd reveals unexpected meanings.
