My family wants attention, but I don’t have the energy for myself.

CYNIC

Oh, your family wants attention? How novel. Meanwhile, you're running on fumes, but sure, go ahead and set yourself on fire to keep them warm. Just remember, you can't pour from an empty cup, especially when the cup is actually a cracked mug held together by caffeine and spite.

STOIC

You are drained because you give what you lack. Your energy is a finite resource; guard it wisely. The desire for others' attention does not obligate you to supply it. First, tend to your own vessel, then you may share what overflows.

ABSURD

So your family is like a flock of hungry geese honking for bread, and you're a stale crumb wondering why you can't even crumb anymore. Perhaps you are not the bread basket but the moldy loaf in the back of the fridge. Freeze yourself until you are a solid ice-cube of self-care, then maybe they'll chip away at you with a pickaxe of understanding.

Reframing: seeing the situation from three sides

Every problem can be viewed from different angles. The Cynic reduces importance through sarcasm, the Stoic helps find control, the Absurd reveals unexpected meanings.
